Tuition Payment

Tuition fees are: $350 per semester.

Fees can be paid either by check at rehearsal, made payable to LYSO, or through the button below.

Membership fees are nonrefundable.  Fees must be paid by the 2nd rehearsal.

This is an all-inclusive fee – there are no additional fees for the audition, folders, music, etc.


Travel reimbursement

For those traveling a distance of 20 miles between your permanent residence and Central High School, you will receive travel reimbursement through a decreased tuition price. Fill out the form below to submit application.

Annual Concerto Competition

Audition to become the next concerto competition winner! Prize given by Reed Studios, the winner of the competition gets to perform their solo on stage at the spring concert and receive a $250 check from Reed Music Studios.

Deadline and Fee for Registration: Monday, December 1st, 2025
– $15 registration fee payable to LYSO via GiveButter or Check to the manager

Audition Date: Sunday, January 11th, 2026: 2:00 pm-Complete
– Happening during 1st rehearsal of Spring semester

Announcement of winner: Monday, January 12th, 2026
